1/3 cup unsalted butter
2/4-cup brown sugar
1 package cream cheese
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
In a bowl with a hand mixer or in a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar.
Add in the cream cheese and vanilla and mix until smooth and ready to be decorated!
Let all ingredients come to room temperature! Allow the cream cheese to sit out for about 30 minutes so it reaches room temperature. It will make it easier to incorporate into this frosting.
If you are not using the frosting right away, or if it becomes too watery while sitting out, place the bowl back in the fridge to help firm up the frosting before using it to decorate.
