I have had a difficult time finding a gluten-free all-purpose flour mix that is also free from nightshades, coconuts, and corn. This Enjoy Life flour was the first and ONLY store-bought all-purpose flour I was able to have. Unfortunately, as the story goes, a lot of food-allergy products often get discontinued due to lack of sales. This is the sad truth when specialty products are no longer finding it to be cost-efficient to continue to produce selected products. That is why it leaves us to make it ourselves!
So, without further adieu, we present you our recreation of this once amazing store-bought all-purpose gluten-free flour mixture! (Try saying that 5 times fast)
2 cups arrowroot starch
1 cup white rice flour
1 cup buckwheat flour
1/2 cup millet flour
1/2 cup brown rice flour
1/4 cup cassava flour
3 tablespoons brown rice protein
Whisk ingredients together in a large bowl until well combined.
Store in a container or mason jar and use it when needed.
