Plant Based Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas, fresh or ripe

  • 1/2 cup nut butter

  • 1/2 cup almond flour or oat flour

  • 1/2 cup avocado

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon vegan protein powder (we used hemp seed protein)

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda.

  • Chocolate chips *optional*

  • Sprinkles, for topping *optional*

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a brownie pan with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. Add everything to a bowl and mix well until combined. If wanted, fold chocolate chips into the batter.

  3. Pour into the parchment-lined brownie pan and bake for 45 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before adding sprinkles or more chocolate chips on top.

  5. Store leftovers in an airtight container, in the fridge.
