Honey Garlic Salmon - The Sunday Cookbook - Food Allergy Recipes


For the salmon:

  • 12 oz salmon, cut into 3 to 4 strips

  • Sea salt, for taste

  • Black Pepper, for taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ lemon, sliced into wedges

For the sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon warm water

  • 1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice

  • Pinch of sea salt


  1. Season the surface of the salmon with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

  2. Add the honey, water, lemon juice, and salt to a bowl, then mix to combine well.

  3. Heat up a skillet with olive oil over medium heat. Pan-fry the salmon until it is half done.

  4. Add the garlic into the pan and cook until slightly browned.

  5. Then, pour the honey mixture and lemon wedges into the skillet. Reduce the sauce until it’s sticky.

  6. Optional: Finish it off by broiling the salmon in the oven for 1 minute or until the surface becomes slightly charred.
