Start Your Morning with Overnight Oats


Ingredients

Starters

½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

½ cup milk (dairy, nut, or oat) or water

1 tablespoon yogurt of your choosing (optional)

1 teaspoon chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds, and/or cinnamon (optional)

1 teaspoon honey and/or maple syrup (optional)

Note: Add more milk or yogurt for a creamier version. 


Go Bananas 

½ banana, sliced

1 teaspoon chia seeds

+ starter ingredients


Berry Good

1 teaspoon honey

¼ cup fresh or freeze-dried raspberries, blueberries, and/or strawberries

1 teaspoon shredded coconut (optional)

+ starter ingredients


Candy Bar Breakfast

2 ½ tablespoons peanut butter, almond butter, and/or sunflower seed butter

2 tablespoons chocolate chips

1 teaspoon chia seeds

+ starter ingredients


Banana, Jam, and Nutter

2 ½ tablespoons peanut butter, almond butter, and/or sunflower seed butter

½ banana, sliced

¼ cup fresh or freeze-dried raspberries, blueberries, and/or strawberries

1 teaspoon chia seeds

+ starter ingredients


Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a sealable container or mason jar. 

  2. Refrigerate overnight. 

  3. Open the lid and stir the mixture. If necessary, add more milk. 

  4. You can eat the oats cold or heat them in the microwave for 1 – 1 ½ minutes. 

Note: If meal prepping, remember that a mixture should only be kept 3-5 days in the refrigerator.
