1 ¼ cup all-purpose gluten-free flour (my Enjoy Life's All Purpose Flour recreation recipe)
1 tablespoon sugar: cane, date, maple, or coconut
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or PSL spice, optional
1 ripe banana or 1 Vital Farm egg
1 tablespoon oil, olive, sunflower, etc.
1 1/2 cup water or dairy-free milk of choice
1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
Enjoy Life's Chocolate Chips (optional)
Fruit, for mixture or topping (optional)
Cinnamon, for topping (optional)
Add all the dry ingredients in a bowl and combine them with a whisk.
Measure 2 cups of the dry mix and combine with the banana/egg, oil, water/milk, vanilla, and maple syrup.
If you are, you can add in the amount you desire of chocolate chips or fruit into your batter and combine.
After adding cooking spray or oil to your waffle iron, add batter and cook according to waffle iron's instructions.
Add your toppings of choice and enjoy!
