  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. In a bowl with an electric mixer or in a stand mixer, combine the pumpkin, egg, honey, and banana. Beat until combined.

  3. Add in the baking soda, cinnamon, flour, and salt. Mix until combined.

  4. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the mini chocolate chips.

  5. Separate the mixture evenly into the 12-cup cupcake pan. Add the mega chunk chocolate chips on top, if desired.

  6. Place in the oven and bake for 22 minutes.

  7. Remove from pan and allow to cool on a wire rack before eating.
